JENNELL DUNN - Miss Teen Northwood
Awarded the Title of
2003 MISS TEEN OHIO INTERNATIONAL®
APRIL, 2003 This weekend the new Miss Teen Ohio® International Competition was held at the Franciscan Theater located on the campus of Lourdes College in Sylvania. The city delegates gathered to compete in Interview, Physical Fitness, Fun Fashion Wear and Evening Gown Competition. After the final competition Miss Dunn, a junior at Lake High School with a 4.0 GPA, was awarded the title of Miss Teen Ohio International® 2003. Her family was gathered in the audience to cheer her on, including her proud parents, Michael & Deborah Dunn.
On Saturday evening the performance finished with Jennell winning the 2003 Community Service Award and the Health & Fitness Award. Natanielle Mikalov, Miss Teen Columbus, captured the "Photogenic Award".
Jennell is involved in many church and community meal services, and is a volunteer tutor for children and she is a member of the symphonic choral group and a former participant in track and field (she had to abandon this sport due to an injury). Her plans are to attend college and become a surgeon.
The Miss Teen International competition is dedicated to community stewardship, and as Miss Teen Ohio, Miss Dunn will focus her efforts on teen pregnancy and it's effects. She will represent the Buckeye State at the 2003 Miss Teen International® competition on August 1st & 2nd at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Chicago.
The Miss Teen Ohio® Competition is a not for profit venture. |
